CO2 laser or fractional laser is a laser treatment for skin rejuvenation and improved skin texture. The treatment reduces pigmentation, fine lines, acne scars, wrinkles and deep folds. It also minimizes stretch marks, leaving you with fresh and beautiful skin. CO2 laser stimulates the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid in the skin, correcting skin irregularities and repairing sagging, loose skin areas with uneven skin color, scars and wrinkles.

How does a fractional CO2 laser treatment work?

First, we offer a consultation to discuss your expectations and wishes. Our dermatologists will assess your skin to determine your suitability for the treatment and possible risks and side effects.

Afterwards, your skin may become red and hot, like when you have been sunbathing for too long. A slight swelling in the days following laser treatment is common. The side effects usually disappear after a week. You can return to work and social activities immediately after your treatment, but usually you will want to wait a few days. You can wear makeup and shave the treated area, it will not affect the healing or the results. However, you should be very careful to avoid the sun and use Spf 50 for the first few weeks after treatment. Also, avoid skincare containing retinol or acid until the skin has recovered.
